We all know that teaching children is a job.  However, many may or may not know that It's the Parents responsibility, given as a job by God and no one else. Yet, many do not except the job once it has been given. God has given us the power to make babies. When we choose to make them, we choose to except the job. Like all jobs, we sometimes need support or a boost in understanding something’s about the job. Therefore, we have senior leaders like grandparents, aunts, uncles and so on who will assist when needed. They are there to help us when we feel it is needed or when we must take time off from the job do to unforeseen reason .

The world we live in is such a sinful place. Yet, we are to live in this world and not be of the world. At times, the world seems as though it is falling apart. It's so hard to see disasters around the world as they take place each day. Yet, we know these things are going to happen as long as people continue to walk away from Gods word. To have a peaceful world we must start at home.  As Parents, we must teach our children to be more like Christ; learning how to be strong and stand on Gods word only. Yet many parents must have two incomes to live.

The world teaches people to seek for new things and to be better than or have more than their neighbors. Many look upon others as if what they have now is not good enough. Many Mothers put careers before their own children. Many people only look for ways to make more so they can afford more things or be like others or even better then others. The more one seems to get the more they seem to want.

The world will put out one item and in a year or two they have another one out for sale; telling everyone they need to buy the new one. The old is no more good even if it is in excellent condition.

The world teaches this and the world is tempting families and causing an increase in their means of living to be to high. Many have been taught to live that way. We all know that old habits are hard to break. The more a family will spend on items just because the world is doing it, the richer the rich get and the poorer the poor get, making families follow the ways of the world . Many will degrade themselves just to catch up and have what others have. Ya know, God gave us the power. Many just don't use the strength of power to fight off the worlds ways. I'm not saying I'm perfect . I'm learning as I go on in life too. The more I learn, the more I change for the glory of God. The difference is: God teaches us everyday. We choose to listen or go our own way. What do we want to do ? His will or our will. Maybe I should ask. What will you do ? His will or will you do yours ?

What are we teaching our children ? What are we allowing them to learn ? What are they learning from TV, public school, church, friends, family, music and so on...?  What dose the Bible say about all of this?

One thing is for sure. We are to live for God . We know that Dads / Husbands are to support their families. They are to harvest the grains for their family. Wives are to make/keep the home not be slaves/maids but loving mothers/teachers and wives. Now, I'm not saying a woman can't get a job working out of the home.  I'm saying that can be done once the job of raising children has been completed.  Once the children are young adults would be a great time to work outside of the home. Just remember, God made Adam first and gave him Woman.

As a woman myself. I do work. I have a huge job. Oh, and I do get paid. Yes, I am a Mother, wife, teacher, daughter, sister, cousin, aunt, friend and more and I am paid with much love and respect. I also handle our bookeeping at home. My husband works the hard and tuff jobs around our home as well as brings in the income. He sews and reaps the harvest for us and he and I raise our children together. I do the rest at home. That dose not mean I don't get out and make friends. Believe me, I do. We have tons of friends.

The world has told us so many things not of the Bible. Most people of the world are following the wrong roll model.

We know children will copy their roll models , after all, they are young and are taught that way. Children are young for only a short while. We as parents must mold them while they are young, so when they are adults, living in this world, they will know the truths and be able to survive . So many times we see teens pregnant or on drugs or even worse. Schools teach about sex education with male and females in one room together. They talk about condoms and how they prevent pregnancies. However, they do not teach that the condoms are only for those whom are married . They do not teach that sex is a sin if you are not married. They do not teach that one should wait until marriage to have sex. They do not love them enough to teach them Gods word.

Do we love them enough to raise them and teach them Gods word and let the seed God has planted in them sprout ? Will we hand them off to total strangers to raise them in the worlds ways five days a week while we raise them two days a week? Will we try to fit one shoe size on a foot that is only size 4 or an 8 or even a 12 ? Why do so many feel that children all need the same grade level work if they are the same ages. Children are like feet. :) They come in many shapes and sizes. All brains are not the same. Why teach a class the same material when you have so many different size brains?

You know some will be called a failure because their size did not fit the curriculum. ( at no fault to the teacher ) it’s the systems fault! ( The world) However, that child will then shut down or give up or may even get angry and fail in life. They may even feel as if no one even cares about them. The world is teaching young people how to depend on the ways of the world. It's teaching how to become more stressful as one must move faster and faster . It's teaching how one must also compete.

Competition is not a win due to timed test . A size 4 can not keep up with a size 8 in the race. Children need individual attention ! They need to learn to compete with themselves and not with others. Why gamble with your child’s life just to find out if your child will survive the jungle ? Must we send them out into the back yard full of snakes only to learn the good ones from the bad ones? OR will we teach them the good ones from the bad ones first, then send them out knowing how to fight off the poison ones .

Don’t miss understand . Schools could be for back up. School should be there when a parent needs a tutor or when a parent has no other family to help when they are sick. While school is good for a few due to unforeseen reasons, it is not good for most children. Many times children are left behind to fail, only because the school failed the child in providing the correct material. Education is not just in a box, It's hands own. Real life learning and understanding it all. The problems with school is they label a child, they also enclose a child or teen to a cell room. I say a cell room because you must raise your hand & get permission before you can even use a restroom. Children nor teens are allowed to explore what they need. They must learn what has been told they must learn.

Children are like a recipe. They have the ingredients. We just need to supply the freedom for them to mix the ingredients to form what God has in the oven.

When you order a cake from the store, you know what kind of cake it is that you want to pick up. However, when you go back to the store to pick up your cake, they don't have the cake you ordered . They now tell you that you must except the cake they made even when you don't want it. How upset are you going to feel ? The schools are doing our kids that same way. God has given our kids the ingredients to bloom into the person he wants them to be. However, they can't all use the same ingredients and become different blooms. A rose must be planed with the seed of a rose and so on. If we continue to allow our children to not be heard, then we are going to have many thorns in our bushes than flowers.

Many times schools will make a parent even look as if the parent dose not want to help out in school or could care less about their child’s education. They do this because it makes the school look good and the parent look bad. The fact is, most parents are more concerned about their child’s education than anyone in the school system. The parent may even offer to help out in a classroom . However, many of them are rejected and told they are not needed. Parents will sit at home working with their child on homework for hours, then, run out of time due to working the next day and the chore of living. It is even harder on a parent when they do not know the teachers agenda at hand. Children want and need love, support, guidance and Gods word.

We know Schools no longer have prayer, yet they teach the children how to sin in more ways than one. We have all been touched in our hearts. The suffering children and teens, who are innocent victims, lay particularly heavy upon our hearts . Teen pregnancy in schools are getting worse. Lives are lots more and more in schools. As Parents, we must stand up for our children and teach them how to live in this world and not be of it. That begins in Gods word at home. If this world really wants peace, love and kindness, it needs to begin with Gods word. The world once was on Gods word; even better, It was founded on Gods word and needs to return back to Gods word.

Our children need the loving peace that comes as they grow in knowledge from having a loving God. It is up to us as parents to direct our children to the only hope, peace and salvation this world will every know.

Many continue going about their daily business, not even thinking of our loving Christ . Many times people have had the view of Christ; yet their eyes are focused on someone or something else. The temptations of this world are very strong. Many make idols of to many things, like jobs, money, sports competitions, cars, house, careers and the list can go on and on. We must first put God above all things. We must work hard to reject things that pull us down. Yes, we all need money, food and a home to live . However, with faith in God, we will have all we need. The key word is ( need ). Many times one is in the very presence of Christ, yet may fail to direct their child to Christ. We must change our ways of living and set our eyes upon the Lord only. Putting Christ first in our own lives gives our children a shadow to follow. Like a child who walks in his Dads foot prints, matching step for step . We must do the same in Christ.

Should we wonder, if we allow others not in Christ, to direct our children, would we too, have missed the only opportunity to bring our children or ourselves unto Christ?

Are our life's experiences distracting us and numbing our spirits into a hard heart? Are we not focusing on what matters most?   Will we miss the opportunities to show our children how to know the Lord and feel in their hearts the wonderful peace and loving kindness Christ has for us?

How many times have we seen children so confused at church because of what they learned in school ? Church should be a place children and teens want to go. Church should be that one special social place we all come together for the glory of God. Instead, many times we find students who hate to attend . Their hearts become mean and hard to one another just as they learn in school. It is so sad because school has been brought into church while church has been kicked out of school. 

Children want to know and feel loved. Most children search and search to find their way. They are looking for the light, but it gets put out so many time by sin and temptation. The only way we can strengthen them is to have them walk in our steps, following our shadows, and learning Gods word as they remember his word form the bible. We must teach them when we sit, rise, lay down, walk or even at play.

Children ask…Teach me to walk in the light of his love; Teach me to pray to my Father above; Teach me to know of the things that are right; Teach me, Teach me to walk in the light.

Are we teaching our children to feel and rejoice in the gospel of Christ ?  If not, let us make that change today. Ya know, God is our Father and like all Dads we love our children. God loves us just as much or even more than we love ourselves and our children. As the kids say ( God is the Daddy of all Daddies ) Let us now live our life for him. Our time is not of our own. Jesus has paid the price for us. No matter what we do, we will always be in sin because of the fall of man kind.

However, Jesus did pay the way home. Won't you walk the path home, and along the way leave your shadow of light for your children to follow ?

Why not ? Jesus did ! He lead a clean and holy life for us all to follow. The test here on earth are only test to prepare us for real life in heaven. If we never know his word or his laws, then we have not looked for him. If we keep sinning, we cause more suffering and sadness in our life. Man kind has already suffered due to the fall of man . How much more damage do we want to cause ourselves ?

God dose not make us suffer. It breaks his heart when we are hard headed. It's man kinds own fault we are where we are . We have the power to control what we do and don't do. That's why we are judged on it. God would not judge us on what he dose to us. He dose nothing but love us. Man kind is to blame for sadness and suffering. If you want better, then change. Those who are lawless may still be saved because of his loving kindness. But oh, how much more he loves the ones that search and find him, and give of their selves to live for him; even though man kind has fallen into sin .

Give your life to Christ because you love him and want to. Not because you are trying to save yourself; because that is greedy and wrong. Do it from your heart.

Example: Giving your wife a rose on a reg day means more, than if you gave it to her on her B-day or v-day when she was expecting something. What a surprise she would get ! And how much more she would love it if it comes from your heart rather than when the world dose it.

Doing it because you have love in your heart and because you want to, means so much more . Therefore, By love we seek to honor and please him, by his word we find him and by faith we are received .

We must remember we are not perfect and never will be. Many will fall into lots of sin, but Christ will forgive you and love you even more; only if you ask and live your life for him. After all, he gave his for yours.
